It's simple really. Just say what the last movie you watched was. Then give it a mark out of 10...If you have time to kill then why not go into detail about how good or bad it was.
Only one rule...DON'T TELL US THE END...Well you can...But use a spoiler tag and if this forum has none, then make the text white so others can just scroll over it and see what you have to say, if they have seen the movie as well.

I watched The Life and Death of Peter Sellars the other night and enjoyed it. Interesting story with a good cast (good cameos) and an eye opener about one of Britains best loved comedy actors.
I know Rush had criticisms from some hardcore fans saying he was nothing like Sellars but he impressed me.
Give this a 7 out of 10.
The Black Dahlia
I thought the film was too blah for my liking. Which is a shame as I've quite enjoyed all the previous Brian De Palma films I've seen.
5/10

Confetti
What a disappointment! Mrs Leg buys it Saturday to watch on the night,so i thought 'hmmmm, wouldnt mind seeing it' so sat down to watch it and bloody hell it dragged! Laughed about every 10 minutes but they were not really big laughs. Just chuckles at subtle lines. It could have been so much better, it just seemed a wasteful film.
5 out of 10 :(
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
Wes Anderson and Bill Murray dishing out a modern classic again. One of the best (if not a little quirky) films in a long time.
Big 8 out of 10

Kingdom of Heaven: DC
I never watched the theatrical cut of this movie because I wanted to wait for this version. It was worth it :) Ridley Scott scores again

Hurray for the shiny new forum.
Children of Men: 7/10, possibly even an 8. Clive Owen is fantastic, although I didn't think much of the other performances. Very, very well-directed and truly chilling. I'm now trying to read the book, but it's really slow - the film is much better. Now quite impressed at how they've managed to turn a fairly dull book (albeit with a very good premise) into an exciting film. Trying to read the book has made me think much more highly of the adaptation.

When you are too sick and ill to watch movies. you can lie in bed and listen to commentaries. Which is exactly what ive been doing for the past 10 days as ive been laid up sick in bed.

Unleashed (Jet Li) 8/10 not as bad as everyone made out, great fight choreography.
Disappointed to hear you don’t rate X-Men III Stu I was looking forward to getting this for the weekend, as I missed it at the flicks for all the usual reasons. I really enjoyed the first two.

It's not BAD. But it's not really good either. You can't help but feel that if Brian Singer had done this movie instead of Supes then it would have been soooo much better.
I think the movies biggest flaw is its running time. It's just too short and because of this they don't really give time to ANYBODY. It has some good moments but just not enough of them....The last 3 mins of the movie just sucks though

Welcome aboard tasker :)
X-Men: The Last Stand
The end battle was good, and it definately had it's fair share of suprises, but unfortunately, it's a case of too many badly executed plot lines :(

the last movie i watched was Oliver Stones World Trade Centre.
Excellant movie which should remind everyone that Oliver is still one of the best film makers around.
Scary film thats as close to putting you in a disaster scenario as you can get on film
District 13
The action was entertaining, and a big Yay for no stuntmen or wires :) , but unfortunately the plot felt a bit disjointed :(
3/5
Empire Records
Quirky, and it had a massive explosion of dramatic outbursts about three quarters of the way through, which felt a bit out of context to the rest of the film, IMO, but generally it was quite fun :)
3/5
Slither
As far as black comedy/horrors go, it's not as good as The Lost Boys, but it's still fun :)
3/5
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
I just caught this tonight (well it was either that or The Departed, and I aint gonna see The Departed, even if my life depended on it)
....anyway
***POSSIBLE SPOILERS***
It was alright, and in truth it could have quite easily felt like a genuine prequel to the original 70s Chainsaw.
It was nice to see that the victims weren't just your usual slasher morons (well there was one token dumba*** blonde, who, surprise surprise!! Dies without any struggle, or chase, required from the killers), plus it was nice to see that they weren't the usual assortment of teens who are only interested in weed and sex, but are generally torn up over choices towards the vietnam war. The only problem with the actors/actresses, playing these roles was that they didn't seem believable enough when it came to putting across their views, and seems that their performances were just pure script reading and bugger all personal innovation.
"Enough with the acting already, get to the film details" you says...
Well the film was actually better than I expected, occasionally intelligent, and the backstory elements didn't seem too tacky. The gore was a bit OTT at times, and the overall violent behaviour from the family was quite disturbing, but alas they still have a way to go before they're as f**ked-upedly wrong as the firefly family.
I give this film 5/10, if you like your horror cheap and scary, go watch it.
2001 Maniacs (remake)
The acting was terrible and the gore effects looked quite tacky, but the storyline is a bit different to your usual slasher movie, and the actual death scene ideas were quite original compared to the majority of horror movie deaths.
poor, but not a complete tragedy: 4/10
Saw 3
A bit too far up it's own a**e for my liking
5/10

the last movie i watched was John Cusack / Billy Bob Thorntons The Ice Harvest.
I was under the impression this would be a comedy (dont know why) but it was a very decent thriller.
A little over the top but it was meant that way i think. Its a recommended little film that i wouldnt have discovered had i not seen John Cusacks name on the front cover.

I hope they don't make part 4 :D

lucky number sleven
i figured out it out from the begining but i still had fun watching it, it was funny, Morgan freeman and sir ben kingsley are good to watch as ever
i know im abit behind on my films but i am a very busy man
p.s i really do hope they make a FINAL DESTINATION 4
:D
Warrior King
It's nice to see that Tony Jaa is able to do practical Martial Arts fighting, rather than Ong Bak's barrage of "ooh aren't they pretty to look at" spinning air kicks. The wealth of different fight situations helped too, and he also has a bit of screen presence in the film too .
But as was previously mentioned, the idea of westernising Tony Jaa does make the film seem a bit too dumb at times, and the mixed language soundtrack was not a good idea.
Overall, it's as good as Ong Bak, but not as entertaining as Born To Fight

I watched Fast & The Furious :Tokyo Drift. Decent film that i had seen on the big screen but fancied watching it again. Good silly fun.
Also watched Just Good Friends (or is it Just Friends) Awful film that cant make its mind up whether its American Pie or a silly rom com.
Mission Impossible 3
It definately has a different feel to the previous films, and seems to lack the fast beating pulse that was intermitent in 1 & 2, but it is definately a solid enjoyable action movie with several good cast performances
7/10
Side note: Mission Impossible 2 was my first DVD :)

borat
great film, very funny and hugely cringeworthy,i was curling in my seat at the naked male wrestling in very public conference scene, lol :D best film i've seen in awhile.
Casino Royale
Although both James Bond himself and the movie had distinctively different feels to what I had come acustomed to in the first 20 films, it's still very good. It was nice to see a more believeable/human James Bond, and Daniel Craig excelled in the hands-on fight sequences. I also liked the lack of digital effects used, and the added grittyness of the direction. The lead girl and baddy were good too.
Only the soppy love bits towards the end were a bit rubbish. Oh and that theme song really doesn't sound any better on the big screen :( .
4/5

tenacious d
not bad, alittle low on humour which was a surprise, got the impression u had to b totally up on all things tenacious to get some of it,a fanboy kinda thing.low key ending was err.. low key,to be honest i was alittle bored while watching it,the beginning was great where gass is 'training' black to be a rocker for the gass rock project but after that i kinda lost interest abit, loads of swearing  not as funny as i thought.
