Sexy Boxsets

Hey guys. Just bought the Blade Runner: Final Cut - Ultimate Collector's Edition, and I have to tell you, it's the sexiest boxset I've seen in a very long time. It's good, Alien Quadrilogy good, containing five cuts of the film and some great collectible items. It's all in a really slick tin case too.

As we're all a tad on the DVD geeky side here, I thought I'd propose the question: what are the sexiest boxsets available throughout the world that you guys actually own?

I love the look of the Blade Runner box set, but I don't think I'd ever watch all five versions. If I'm just going to own one, can someone who's seen it tell me whether it's best to go for the Final Cut or should I stick with the Director's cut?

I've got the Close Encounters Collectors Edition which is pretty sexy too.

There's a standard two-disc version of The Final Cut which is cheaper, and if you're keen on getting the standard 'Director's Cut', you can still probably pick that up seperately for about a fiver. Best way to go about it if you're not interested in all five versions.

I'd have to say the Dr Who season 1 is with the TARDIS shaped case, it's great fun to hold it in front of the screen and spin it during the theme music ;)

I have the rather awesome Phantasm special edition boxset that's in the shape of one of the Phantasm Spheres :). It even has 2 little spikes sticking out it :D.

I don't own it, but I was severly tempted to get the black cube shaped multi film Hammer Horror boxset, after seeing it for only £40 (RRP £100+) in HMV :).

only ever had the alien box set and the new bladerunner 5disc boxset.bladerunner wins that lill comp hehe

robocop 20th anniversary collectors edition is just a 2disc but its the sexiest i've seen in ages,check my review n pics on r1 i think.

Got to be the Alien Quadrilogy for me. I paid £70 for that when it first came out. :D

It is damn tempting isn't it :D.

I got it for £40 from HMV :).

It has 21 Hammer produced films, including 1 Million Years BC, Dracula: Prince Of Darkness, The Devil Rides Out, To The Devil A Daughter and Quatermass And The Pit :)

Got this too. Was on sale in HMV for £40 down from RRP of £150. There are 21 films included - a mixed bag, but it does include the odd gem, like the previously unreleased The Nanny.

And yes, it is a very sexy boxset.

is it worth it? i love old horrors but mainly vamp,werewolf,swamp creature etc.. mainly creatures rather than murders.
