aahahahahahahahaha let me start by just saying...there's no way in hell that nolan's lame batman beats burton's goth master piece...period.
yeah yeah..i know im a tad of a vamp or goth haha and cos of that im rather biased but basically there's just no contest.

keaton IS batman..the one n only.....serious,tense,strong,dark,crazy and best of all..he does'nt look like a superhero..he's normal lookin.

the villians in both burton's films are excellent.jack of course being the best..followed closely by chris walken and danny de vito.the look n style is just GORGEOUS...i wanna live in burton's gotham city lol and the action is twisted yet not too serious..just right.

the soundtrack for batman with prince...abstract..was yet brilliant..and im no prince fan.it just works.
the batmobile was also stunning,it looked realistic and pratical as did the other bat vehicles.the new batman begins vehicles are dreadful in every aspect.

i love batman but i just cant agree to nolans film being the better im sorry.its just not a good film, there's nothing special about it and that includes bale as the dark knight.the gritty aproach is nice and the wayne back story is a cool idea....but its just not that interesting really.all i wanna see is burton back in the saddle with more extreme goth, dark, twisted gotham nights...cross that with alittle more adult content and u have the ultimate batman.

I like both Batman and Batman Begins, but I am dissapionted that the Studio/Nolan felt it necessary to use The Joker, rather than go with a villain that hasn't been used before. Yes he is a great character, but Jack Nicholson did a fine job as The Joker, there's no reason to re-invent the character again.

I agree with Hubbs but if Burton was to direct a new Batman, who would you like to see playing Batman as Keaton is probably too old now.

jesus..thats hard haha

keaton could do an aged batman so well i reckon...training his new recruit for the batman way of life.

one of the 300 cast maybe.

So speaking of Batman, what does everyone think about the upcoming Dark Knight? Optimistic?
Will be weird watching Ledger though...

gonna be harsh now.....but ledger looks awful to be frank, too young lookin for the part, not skinny enough if he is a young joker and just doesnt sound evil enough.
just doesnt fit the role atall in my opinion..why he got i'll never know.

the film looks ok....still prefer the burton look.

Chris Nolan easily tops Burtons version of Batman. The music in Begins is fantastic, And the seriousness of the film is what the story needs. I do like Batman(89) but feel that its very......glossy when watched with todays eyes. I definately feel though that The Joker/Jack Napier will always remind me of Jack Nicholsons performance. It was fantastic. . So I prefer Nolan to Burton but prefer Nicholson to Ledger.
