I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on the r2 release date for The Dukes Of Hazzard - Season 7.

The first 6 seasons came out fairly regularly, but there's suddenly been a large wait for season 7's release.


It is available on r1, and if the delay lasts much longer, I probably will buy the r1 version (although it would be nice to have all 7 of them as r2), but I was just wondering if somebody could tell me why there is such a long delay?

Same thing happened with Frasier on R2....Everything was going good then we had to wait about 2 years on season 5...I thinki R1 only has season 10 to go...It's pathetic.

Thank God we can order R1 discs, because we would all be very very old by the time we finished some of those multi season shows. :D


I pity the fool who starts buying Coronation Street if it ever gets a season by season release...Can't see R1 doing that show, so it means if you start collecting now you might just finish your collecion...Wait!! You'll NEVER finish your collection for that show even if you...(live to be 100, get cryogenically frozen, pass your collection down to your grandchildren) :D

That one gets me too, although they actually seem to have slowed down their r1 releases too now :( . I've been buying up the Cheers seasons, and if there's no news of a season 6 release over here by March, I'm going to buy seasons 6 to 8 on r1.

Woo Hoo!!!

Cheers and Frasier season 6 boxsets are being released on r2 on May 6th : D

Still no word on The Dukes Of Hazzard though :( .

DVDM, any info on the situation really would be much appreciated :).

does anybody know when the simpsons season 10 will be out on r2?
i know season 9 came out not so long ago, but i want more!!!!!

It'll probably be at least another 3 months, they only started recording the commentaries for the season about a month ago.

Oh and if anyone else is interested, Matt Groening has confirmed that the box set designs for seasons 11 onwards will not be character heads.
