So how does everybody else think it will turn out? :)


Considering the drop in quality of the recent seasons, and only a slightly amusing first trailer, I wasn't overly confident that it would be good :( , but after catching the brand new trailer yesterday, my faith has been restored. :)

I dont think it will work too well.
(a) Can the story be stretched to 80mins and not seem overlong?
(b) will people pay money for something they can pretty much watch on TV for free.

i reckon simpsons lost their cutting edge after season 7,since then its been chock full of famous cameos,which are usually unfunny,and the stories have gone way way off the wall,to the point of nonsense.thats fine for family guy but not simpsons as they started as quite a close emotional family driven storyline setup,nows it looks like there're trying to compete.the film is really stretching it,i'd rather see another south park movie :D

I’m undecided as it does seem like a good idea and I did enjoy the South Park movie, but I do worry when they stretch cartoons into movies for general release rather than straight to VHS/DVD. :confused:
