certain films

when oh when r we gonna c some films released in specials??i love light horror or halloween fun eg. tim burton,hammer etc.. im dying 4 beetlejuice,addams family,addams family values,sleepy hollow,burbs 2 all get se's.WHEN,they all need it,especially beetlejuice n addams family. :confused: :confused:

addams family tv series is just out in US,the old black n white one with john austin as gomez. :D im also hoping 4 count duckula seasons 2-4,and any info on the beetlejuice and addams family cartoon series would b great,anybody :confused:

Some stuff that's taken an age to get a SE dvd or come out on DVD at all will be sorted with HD or BD (I hope)

Maybe the HD thing will give them a kick up the arse to release some long overdue SE goodness for some, as yet to have the love, bare bones discs.

Im guessing some studios are holding back super special editions of films for the sole purpose of HD or Blu-Ray. Otherwise they wont have much to sell the hardware on (better picture quality just wont do it for me)

2 b honest guys i hardly think these companies r holding back films like addams family n beetlejuice 4 the next gen,there're hardly hugely popular,im guessing thats why we dont have se's now.i agree with bannerman,pic quality n sound won't sell me either.

not always,it sometimes takes awhile for them to get here,guess it depends on the title and how popular it is,and i only get r1's for very special films or things u dont get here in r2 land.my star wars episode 2 is r1 because its the full cut,r2 is cut.aliens,predator 1,2,robocop criterion,crow se are all r1's because the pic n sound r better,they came out along time before r2 and tend to have more extras(sometimes).i have alien v predator directors unrated version which has more blood n guts,thats not even out in r2 yet.

any news for that dracula(lugosi) 75th ani edition anybody??

major league se out today,
looks good for an old film.....1 featurette or making of,commentry by writer n director,interviews with stars,alternate ending :D,photo gallery,a closer look at bob uecker for some reason and something called 'alook inside cerranos locker' silly.

but for an old movie that most people will probably not have seen or care about its pretty good.
