Is that true that each dvd magazine I’ve received through the post i should of signed for?
Only i’ve a dispute going on with royal mail at the moment as my postman has been forcing my DVD Monthly into my post box and tearing my magazine to shreds in the process rather than knocking on my front door for me to accept it.
    Many thanks in readyness
    Jason

Magazine subscription copies are sent out by normal post. This page is part of Jazz Publishing’s standard delivery policy for merchandise, which covers things such as caps, t-shirts etc. which the company offers for some of its other magazines.

However it is true that the Royal Mail should deliver the magazine to you in a way that doesn’t destroy it. The vast majority of magazines arrive with subscribers in perfect condition, but we’re always looking into ways to make sure each and every copy arrives that way, and we’ll certainly take into account what you’ve written here and look into whether there are ways in which we can improve things from our side.

Thankyou Tim for your answer. I just need to find another lever in my argument with royal mail whom i’ve lost all faith in as tey are ducking out of any sort of compensation for their postman destroying my magazine. If it was a case of having to sign for it at least i would know i would receive my magazine safely. Then again i guess i must be in u very unlucky minority to have such a stupid postman whom doesn’t think to knock on the door if a package doesn’t fit in a post box. Though i must say that i do prefer the brown envelope to the clear plastic bag when i started my subscription.
