What do you think of the DVDs in your collection? We want to know, and so we’ve got over 1,000 DVD reviews in our online archive, all of which give you the opportunity to add your thoughts underneath ours! And to give you an added incentive to write reviews on everything from blockbusters and hit comedies to arthouse movies and foreign flicks, we’ve teamed up with Onkyo to offer you a great prize!

Each month we’ll be picking the best review written in our online reviews section during the previous four weeks and printing it in the magazine in the ‘Reel Reviews’ section of the Letters Page. However, if you win you won’t just get your review printed, you’ll also win a stunning Onkyo HTX-22HD 2.1 sound sytem!

We’ve now entered a new winning period, and Reviews written between December 3rd and December 31st will be eligible for our next giveaway of an Onkyo HTX-22HD, with the winning review printed in Issue 113 of DVD Monthly, on sale January 29th, 2009.

Terms and conditions: By submitting a review to the DVD Monthly website, you must give Jazz Publishing the right to possibly reprint the review, free of charge, as the winning entrant in the ‘Reel Review’ section of the magazine and for its use on the website in connection with this (Jazz Publishing will only use the work for this purpose). The winner will be chosen by the editor of DVD Monthly from all the reviews written on the website (not the forum) in the preceding four weeks. Notice will be given on the website for qualifying periods for each prize of an Onkyo HTX-22HD. The editor’s decision is final and we cannot enter into personal correspondence about why one review was chosen over another. No cash alternatives can or will be offered.
