Doctor At Sea – The Complete Series

Review: And now for the TV show that absolutely nobody was waiting for… Doctor At Sea! Geoffrey Davies and Robin Nedwell reprise their carefree roles as immature doctors Dick Stuart-Clark and Duncan Waring. When Dick is finally fired by long-suffering St Swithin’s Hospital, Duncan resigns in a show of solidarity, and the two unlikely funnymen sign up as medical officers on a cruise ship. Unfortunately the gags are all lost at sea and the show was destined for a watery grave. If the likes of ‘Doctor In The House’, ‘Doctor In Charge’ and ‘Doctor In Large’ used to set you chortling then it’s likely that this limp offering will float your boat as well. However, anyone with a healthy sense of humour is likely to feel seasick after a couple of hours of seriously damp comedy…
