Review: Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman are committed to making science fun! Their long-running show, Mythbusters, which you may have caught on BBC2 or the Discovery Channel, sees the bonkers duo tackle all manner of notorious urban myths and establish whether or not they are indeed false… Do silicon breast implants explode at high altitudes? Can fillings pick up radio signals? Can dropping a penny from a great height kill someone? Tune in and find out! The double-act have a background in special effects, and many of their investigations end in fires, explosions and crashes, which should keep the less scientifically-inclined immersed in the show. The duo have produced six series, numbering well over 100 episodes so far, but this initial batch offers a great taster of their brainy charms.
