Review: Retro pop-rock luminaries 10cc are a highly unusual prospect. Over the course of their career the band racked up three insanely popular hit singles: ‘Dreadlock Holiday’, ‘I’m Not In Love’ and ‘Rubber Bullets’. Royalties from hits like that presumably ensured that the band need never work again, but sure enough they have regrouped for another stint on the road. The nostalgia circuit will guarantee that 10cc never go short of work, but at least (on the evidence of this concert) they are selling out Shepherd’s Bush Empire rather than flaunting their wares around town halls and community centres. Special features include a lengthy chat with 10cc main-man Graham Gouldman, an artwork discussion with Storm Thorgerson and a clip of founder member Kevin Godley hooking up with his old band-mates in Cardiff.
